Rights and music
From fraud alert to a royalty decision you can defend.
Intelicap connects rights claims, fraud alerts and royalty decisions in one record every party can check. When a payout is challenged, you can show who claimed what, which checks ran and why the money moved.
01 · The problem
The money moves before anyone can show why.
Rights claims, fraud signals and payout decisions live in different systems. A platform’s fraud report reaches the distributor after the royalty run. Two parties claim the same recording, or a payee changes just before a payout, and the evidence sits in emails and support tickets. A blocked fraudster opens a new account at the next distributor.
Why now
On 14 September 2026 IFPI launched the Streaming Integrity Initiative. Distributors commit to verify customers and rights, investigate suspected fraud and measure results.
8 % of all streams on Deezer were fraudulent in 2025, and up to 85 % on fully AI-generated tracks.
The first US federal case of AI-driven streaming fraud ended in a guilty plea in March 2026, with more than USD 8 million forfeited.

02 · The record
Every claim signed by the party that made it.
Each claim is signed by the party that makes it and anchored with its time and fingerprint.
| The question | What the record shows |
|---|---|
| Who claims the money? | An identified party, its signed claim and its mandate |
| What does the claim cover? | Recording or work, type of right, territory and period |
| What evidence was used? | Fingerprints of the agreements and reports, with their versions |
| What raised the alert? | A signed platform report or a defined conflict between claims |
| Who decided? | The authorised reviewer, the decision, the time and the reason |
| What happened to the money? | The payout, or the documented hold |
The distributor’s authorised reviewer decides whether the payout is released or held.
Intelicap keeps the proof of each claim. The party with the mandate decides. Intelicap holds no goods, no funds and no rights.

Spot the conflict. Hold the payment.
Signed risk signals and conflicting claims come together in one review. The authorised party decides what happens next.
An alert opens a case for review. The authorised reviewer decides.
Listener data stays with the platforms. Intelicap carries their signed reports.
Billions of bot streams in the first US AI streaming case, spread across hundreds of thousands of AI songs so that no single song looked unusual.

What raises an alert
- 1
Two parties claim the same right for the same period.
- 2
A payee or a mandate changes just before a payout.
- 3
A platform’s signed fraud report touches an upcoming royalty run.
- 4
A payout lacks the approval your own rules require.
- 5
The same verified payee appears in several cases, where the law allows the comparison.

Detection partners
Signals that count
Your signals become signed evidence every party downstream can rely on.
06 · The first step
One catalogue, made provable.
One selected catalogue, historical royalty runs and a set of cases already investigated. The pilot runs in parallel with your current process, and no money moves in the first phase. We measure the time to a complete case file, the conflicts found earlier and the share of alerts that proved relevant.
The second track
A licence that proves itself.
For collecting societies and AI licensees, the record shows which rightsholders approved which use, which works were in the licensed version, which model version and period a report covers, and who approved the settlement. Intelicap leaves attribution to the specialists, and makes the origin, version and use of their reports verifiable.
